A lower price per seat than a typical per-seat plan, and no cap on what you send
Leading per-seat e-signature plans cap how many documents each user can send per year. When you outgrow the cap, you pay for more seats. EaseSignature Business has no envelope cap, so you add a seat only when you add a person who sends. Sending 2,400 documents a year on one seat works out to about $0.13 per envelope, about 97% lower than a typical $30 per-seat plan at full use.

Questions, answered
Are electronic signatures legally binding?
In most cases, yes. In the United States the ESIGN Act and UETA give electronic signatures the same legal effect as handwritten ones for most documents, and the EU (eIDAS), the UK and many other countries have similar rules. This is general information, not legal advice.
What is the difference between an electronic signature and a digital signature?
An electronic signature is any electronic way of showing you agree to a document, such as typing or drawing your name. A digital signature is a specific cryptographic technique that locks a document so changes can be detected. Most everyday business agreements only need an electronic signature.
What makes an e-signature valid?
Generally, the signer intends to sign, agrees to do business electronically, the signature is clearly tied to the document, and a record of the signed document is kept. A timestamped trail of who opened and signed, and when, helps show all of that.
Which documents can't be signed electronically?
Some documents still usually need a handwritten signature or special formalities, for example wills and certain trusts, some court and family-law documents, and certain legal notices such as eviction or utility cut-off notices. Rules vary by place, so check with your attorney if you are unsure.
Does my signer need an account or an app?
No. They open a secure link, review the document and sign. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
How does signing stay secure?
You sign in securely to send documents, and each signer gets a private signing link. Every step, from sent to signed, is recorded with a timestamp so you have a clear history of the document.
What do I get after everyone has signed?
A finished, signed copy you can download, together with the timestamps for each step, so you can file it or share it right away.
Can I reuse a document I send often?
Yes. Save it once as a template, then pick it, add the signer's name and email, and send. It takes seconds instead of rebuilding the document each time.
How does EaseSignature keep the cost per envelope so low?
Leading e-signature plans charge per user and cap how many documents each user can send, usually about 100 to 150 a year. Past the cap you buy more seats. EaseSignature Business has no envelope cap, so one seat sending 2,400 documents a year works out to $0.13 per envelope, about 97% less than a typical $30 per-seat plan.
Do I have to buy extra seats as my volume grows?
No. Business Standard has unlimited envelopes, so you add a seat only when you add a person who sends, at $20 a month for each additional user. Typical per-seat plans need another seat for roughly every 100 documents. Try the savings calculator above to see the difference for your own volume.
Why is the price so low?
We don't spend heavily on advertising or run a big commissioned sales team, so those costs never end up on your invoice. Our effort goes into the product and the service behind it.
How accurate are the other plans' prices in your comparison?
They are approximate list prices taken from public pricing pages and third-party summaries, and vendors change plans often. Not every provider caps envelopes, so check the current terms for your own volume before you decide.
